The Brookson Group is pleased to announce that Kevin Green is joining the organisation as a non-executive director from the 16th March 2018.

Green has been the chief executive of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) since 2008 and it was announced in November 2017 that he was leaving early in 2018 to pursue a portfolio career of non-executive director roles and consultancy.

Martin Hesketh, chief executive of Brookson, states, “I am delighted that Kevin has chosen to join Brookson and to help us with our ambitious growth agenda. His knowledge of the recruitment sector, and the jobs market is unrivalled. He will be key in helping us build even stronger links with recruiters and to realise the potential that the ever changing market creates. In addition, his strong HR experience will be invaluable in providing advice on our people strategy and making Brookson one of the best places to work.”

Kevin Green says, “I am delighted to join Brookson as a non-executive director. I loved leading the REC and I am very proud of the organisation and our many achievements, including creating the Good Recruitment Campaign and launching the Institute of Recruitment Professionals. However, I felt that the time was right to pursue new opportunities and I am very excited to join Brookson, who I know well as a pioneering and market leading organisation. Following their recent acquisitions and organic growth I believe they are well positioned to capitalise on the ongoing growth in freelancing and flexible working that lie ahead. I am looking forward to playing my part in helping them realise their ambitions.”

Green joins Brookson at an exciting time, with the company having recently announced its acquisition of Intouch, a Bournemouth based contractor accountant, thereby continuing its mission to revolutionise professional services for flexible workers and their end clients. The Group now employs over 430 people, supports over 15,000 contractors and freelancers and processes over £130 million of public sector temporary labour spend per annum.
