Non-customer Referral Terms and Conditions

1 The Recommend a Friend Offer (“the Offer”) is organised by Brookson Limited of Brunel House, 340 Firecrest Court, Centre Park, Warrington, WA1 1RG (“Brookson”) and is open to non Brookson customers and individuals who retain Brookson for non-trading service, bespoke tax and/or accountancy advice and/or Brookson’s yearend service hereafter known as the Referrer (“Referrer”);

2 The Offer runs from the 1st January 2018 until 31st December 2018 (“the Offer Period”) and provides that, subject to eligibility and the Offer conditions, if the Referrer refers an individual (“the Referred”) and the Referred agrees to engage with one of the businesses or solutions referred to in clauses 2.1and 2.2, both the Referrer and the Referred shall be entitled to receive a Reward (“Reward”) in accordance with clause 6 below;

2.1 Brookson Limited Company Accountancy Services (“Limited Company Service”);

2.2 Brookson Solutions Limited, Brookson CIS Solutions, or Brookson Medical Care Services Limited (“Umbrella Employment Solution”);

3 It is a condition of the Offer that the Referred retains one of the ways of working identified in clauses 2.1 and 2.2 above by 31st December 2018.

4 Brookson reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine if the Referrer and the Referred qualifies for the Offer. The decision of Brookson is final.

Eligibility

5 In order for the Referrer and the Referred to become eligible to receive the Reward, the Referred must have:

5.1 Traded within 3 months of signing up to the Limited Company Service and have paid a full direct debit payment within this period; or
5.2 Been employed and received payment from the Umbrella Employment Solution for 4 weeks work within 3 months of commencing employment with the Umbrella Employment Solution.

Rewards

6 The Rewards available to the Referrer and the Referred are set out in the Reward Table below. All Rewards are subject to availability and will depend on individual circumstances. All Rewards are also subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement.

6.1 Depending on the business or solution retained by the Referred, both the Referrer and the Referred will be entitled to one of the Rewards identified within the Reward Table;

6.1.1 Where the Referred retains the Limited Company Service the Rewards available to the Referrer and Referred are contained under Section A of the Reward Table;

6.1.2 Where the Referred retains the Umbrella Employment Solution the Rewards available to the Referrer and Referred are contained under Section B of the Reward Table;

 Reward Table

Rewards available to the Referrer and the Referred where the Referred retains the Limited Company Service in accordance with clause 2.1.

Section A

The Referrer is entitled to :

  • £100 Love2Shop Vouchers

 The Referred is entitled to:

  • 2 Months Free Limited Company Accountancy Service (equivalent to current service fee rate)

Rewards available to the Referrer and the Referred where the Referred becomes and employee of the Umbrella Employment Solution in accordance with clause 2.2. 

Section B

 The Referrer is entitled to :

  • £50 Love2Shop

The Referred is entitled to:

  • No Umbrella Employment Solution margin retained for 4 Weeks 

 

 

6.3 Only one Reward can be claimed by the Referrer and the Referred from the options contained within the Reward Table above. 

Conditions to be satisfied

7 Both the Referrer and the Referred are required to provide the following information to Brookson to enable both the Referrer and the Referred to be eligible to receive one of the Rewards contained within the Reward Table:

 

7.1 Referrer’s full name;

7.2 Referrer’s Brookson ID (if applicable);

7.3 Referrer’s email address;

7.4 Confirmation from the Referrer that Brookson is permitted to contract the Referred;

7.5 Referred‘s full name;

7.6 Referred’s email address;

7.7 Referred’s telephone number;

7.8 Referred’s full address including house number, street name, town, city, county and postcode;

8 Brookson will not be liable to replace any Rewards that are delivered to an incorrect address were the Referrer or the Referred have provided Brookson with incorrect delivery address in accordance with clause 7.

9 The Referred must confirm to Brookson during the initial consultation with Brookson’s New Business Team that he/she was referred to Brookson by the Referrer and which of the Rewards (subject to the Reward being applicable to the Referred) is their preferred choice of Reward. 

10 It is a condition of the Offer that the Referred does not have outstanding fees owing to Brookson and has not been a customer of Brookson 2 years prior to the commencement of this Offer. If the Referred does have outstanding fees owing and/or has been a customer of Brookson 2 years prior to 1st July 2016, the Referrer and the Referred will not be eligible to receive a Reward

11 The Referrer and the Referred shall only be eligible for the Reward where they have complied with the obligations set out in clause 5, clause 7 and all other relevant provisions of this agreement.

12 All Rewards will be issued to the Referrer and the Referred subject to clause 5 and after the first full direct debit payment has been made for the Limited Company Service by the Referred or after the Referred has completed and received payment for 4 weeks work by the Umbrella Employment Solution.

12.1 In the event that the Referred fails to pay the first direct debit payment for the Limited Company Service or the Referred’s employment with the Umbrella Employment Solution is terminated (irrespective of fault) before he/she completes and receives payment for 4 weeks work the Reward will no longer be available to the Referrer and the Referred.

13 In the event that the Referred does not engage with one of the businesses or solutions referred to in clauses 2.1 and 2.2 (inclusive) by the date described in clause 3, the Reward will no longer be available to the Referrer and the Referred.

14 Brookson reserves the right to determine when to issue the Reward to the Referrer and the Referred.

15 Brookson will distribute the Reward to a UK address only. It is not possible for Brookson to arrange for the Reward to be delivered to an overseas address.

16 No cash alternatives will be offered in place of the Reward and Rewards cannot be changed from the description contained in the Reward Table. Once the choice of Rewards has been confirmed by the Referrer and the Referred this cannot be changed to an alternative Reward.

17 All queries or comments relating to the Offer should be sent in writing to the following address: Brookson Limited, “Recommend a Friend”, Brunel House, 340 Firecrest Court, Centre Park, Warrington, WA1 1RG.

18 By accepting this Offer, the Referrer and the Referred consent to receiving information from Brookson relating to new services, offers and product information by e-mail, SMS or phone. In order to provide certain product material Brookson may employ the services of external companies. This would involve Brookson supplying personal data to those companies. The Referrer and the Referred can unsubscribe from all service/product updates by emailing [email protected]. Brookson requires notification immediately in order to update records and prevent this from occurring.

19 Brookson reserves the right to withdraw and/or amend the Offer as appropriate. The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

20 The Offer will only apply at the discretion of Brookson.

21 The Offer is available only to persons who can form legally binding contracts under English law. Without prejudice to the foregoing, the Offer is not available to individuals under the age of 18. If the Referred does not qualify, the Referred shall not be permitted to use any of the businesses or solutions contained within clauses 2.1 and 2.3 or apply for the Offer.

22 Brookson reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the Offer without prior notice or liability. Any Referrer or Referred who qualifies for the Offer agrees to indemnify and hold Brookson harmless against all actions, claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses of whatever nature that may result or which Brookson may sustain, suffer or incur as a result of Brookson agreeing to provide the Offer to that Referrer and the Referred.

23 By entering the Offer, the Referrer or the Referred will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and be bound by them.

24 The Offer is run in accordance with, and will be governed by, the laws of England.
